Wreck diver course is one of the most popular specialty courses. Many divers find themselves fascinated by the sight of a large man made structure in the middle of blue water. This is your chance to better understand why. Several wrecks around Phuket and Phi Phi await for you to visit them. They are the most important artificial reefs in the area that attract abundance of marine life. Immense schools of fish and larger pelagic fish are often observed around these hot spots. Some wrecks can be accessed by beginners, but the best wrecks are too deep for open water divers.
You will learn the procedures involved in diving these environment safely. The wreck presents more demanding environment for a diver. There are overhead areas, strong currents and sharp bits of steel and barnacles that you need to learn to take into account when planning a dive.
Many of the ocean’s best dive sites have artificial reefs, or wrecks that have sunk through the ages. This program gives you the skills and knowledge required to safely scuba dive above and around these underwater treasures. You will earn the SSI Wreck Diving certification or PADI Wreck diver specialty after completing this program.
This course is not meant to teach you penetration or other techniques that are beyond recreational diving. Wreck diver course introduces you to more demanding diving as you can advance to cavern or advanced wreck diving courses.
