Advanced Open Water Diver certification, qualifies you to dive deeper than you have ever before to a maximum depth of 30 meters! It also improves your navigation and buoyancy skills and introduced you to the speciality courses by completing 5 adventure dives.
This course takes two days and a requires five dives to complete. With Advanced Open Water Diver certification you will expand your navigation skills. You will become certified to dive to a maximum depth of 30 meters. You have the opportunity to brush up and perfect your buoyancy skills, or dive the famous ship wreck King Cruiser (Phuket’s signature dive site) maybe you would like to practice underwater photography or partake in fish identification or drift diving. Have you ever tried diving at night?
Deep diving and navigation are mandatory but there are many more adventure dives that are optional and to be discussed between and your instructor to see which is best for you. This course can be completed diving at all locations from the beach to daytrip boats or even on liveaboards. There is not so much theory nor quizzes or exams only 6 short knowledge reviews. The aim of the course is to refresh and refine your diving ability an to broaden your skills already learnt in open water which will leave you a much more polished confident diver.
Advanced Open Water Course is the way to be come a Rescue Diver.
07:15 Pick Up from your hotel and transfer to Chalong Pier to meet your instructor.
08:30 Depart from Chalong towards Racha Noi and Racha Yai.
09:00 Breakfast and setup your equipment
09:30 Briefing with your instructor about your skill you will be practicing during your training dives over the course of the day
10:00 – 11:00 Arrive to the first dive site and complete your first training dive
11:00 -12:00 Lunch
12:00 – 13:00 Second training dive
14:00 – 15:00 Third training dive
16:00 – 16:30 Head back to Chalong and debrief with your instructor and prepare for the next day and remaining training dives
During high season you have an option to complete 2 dives from beach including night dive (from October to May)
07:15 Pick up from your hotel and transfer to Chalong Pier
08:30 Depart from Chalong Pier and head towards Phi Phi Islands National Park or King Cruiser Wreck
09:00 Breakfast and Setup your equipment and brief for the training dives
10:00 – 11:30 Arrive to the first dive site and fourth training dive (Koh Bida Nok or King Cruiser )
11:30 – 12:30 Lunch
12:30 – 13:30 Fifth training dive and completion of your certification and becoming a PADI Advanced Open Water Diver (Koh Bida Nai/Turtle Rock or Shark Point)
14:00 – 15:00 FUN DIVE as Advanced Diver (Shark Point/Anemone Reef or Koh Dok Mai)
15:00 – 16:00 Heading back to Chalong and debrief with your instructor
17:30 – 18:00 Arrival to Chalong and transfer back to your hotel
